We are a caring family practice using all the high tech advantages of modern medicine.<br> <br> We have a purpose built health centre boasting modern consulting and treatment rooms, a comfortable waiting room, a meeting room for patient support groups and car parking for patients. We have planning permission for an extension to the surgery to allow us to provide extra services including counselling.<br> <br> <br> We have 6 partners and 2 assistant doctors and a GP Trainee-Registrar who share a commitment to a high quality of personal medical care. We are a teaching practice. <br> <br> We provide a full range of medical services but have special interests in women and children’s health, sports medicine, mental health and minor surgery.<br> <br> There are four practice nurses and a nursing assistant who work in the practice team in addition to general nursing. They have responsibility for chronic disease management and run clinics for coronary heart disease and diabetes. They also provide a travel advice service and well men and women appointments.<br> <br> Other members of our team include health visitors, district nurses, a counsellor and a dietician.<br> <br> The reception and administrative staff are an essential part of the practice team and work hard to provide a helpful, friendly and efficient service.
