When We Are Closedclosed_sign

If you require emergency GP assistance outside of normal surgery hours call the usual surgery number and you will be directed to appropriate care.

Alternatively you can access urgent assistance by calling 111. A triage nurse or a call handler will assess your situation and take appropriate action. This could simply be by offering advice or where necessary by making arrangements for you to be seen by a doctor from IC24, the Out of Hours provider commissioned by East Surrey CCG.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens. It is for emergencies only.

We would also promote the use of the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) based in Caterham Dene Hospital open 7 days a week between 9am and 8pm. For further instructions please open the link below.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
